Object Framing

Create a story with your collection of items in a shadow box! I love the challenge of creating safe and supportive mounts for any and all items!

Paintings

Paintings can be a very important focal point in your home. These works can be greatly enhanced by the “right” frame.
If you have art that has been on your wall for a number of years, I would advise having the materials updated. Framing products have make great advances in their longevity in recent years.
Anything framed more than 10 years ago was probably done using acidic materials and non-UV blocking glass; thus causing damage to your treasure.
Textiles and Garments

Textiles have a way of bringing you back in time. Pair it with a photo and you have an amazing conversation piece.
Garments can be quickly damaged by moisture and insects. Protect and enjoy those treasures by having them preserved and on your wall to view.
What do you have tucked away? Uniforms, Baptismal gowns, Aprons, Quilts, Woven items, Patches, Flags, Banners.
Needle Art

Needle art pieces are a labor of love! They are painstaking and time consuming to produce. Make sure those efforts are protected!
Some samples of item you may have hiding at home might be: Crocheted doilies, Cross stitch scenes, Baby samplers, Hade made dish cloths, Embroidered handkerchiefs.
Works on Paper

Paper items tend to get more wear and tear in storage, especially those of the antique variety. A newspaper from the 1950’s is getting very brittle at the creases by now. Anything stored between cardboard is going to become yellowed and stained. Changes in humidity levels can lead to permanent warping. Not to mention insects find paper most scrumptious.
Items you might consider preserving could be: Antique documents, Watercolor paintings, Soft Pastel Paintings, Letters, Prints, Drawings, Etchings, Engravings, Blueprints, Photographs, Maps, Posters, Concert Tickets, Stock Certificates, Newspaper, Magazines.
Frame Repair

Frame repairs are available on a case by case basis. My goal is to minimize the distraction of damage in order to keep ones attention on the image itself. This includes re-creating damaged or missing embellishments, painting, staining and leafing.
Conservation of costly antique frames is a different ball park altogether. In those instances I will kindly refer you.
Oval frames and Convex glass

Domed photographs of the 1900’s are some of the most amazing heirlooms. It is rare to have one with the frame and glass intact. I can replace both! Let me help you get that treasure back on the wall!
